QUINTIN & TY: GALVESTON ENGAGEMENTS

Quintin & Ty's engagement session in Galveston was down right beautiful! In preparation of their session, Ty sent over their looks and shot list. I always say, a well planned shoot is a happy and sucessful shoot! However, sometimes all the planning in the world, things can go out the window quickly!!!

I arrived at the location and was able to walk around and peep the locations Ty sent......however, when I walked in.....the hotel lobby was crowded and people were everywhere. Every single shot location and idea she sent, it was inundated with folks.

So.....what does a great photographer do? They quickly go to plan B. As I was walking up the property, my eyes immediately began to visualize all the areas I could capture their looks. Vision.....it's so important!!!

After Quitin and Ty arrived, we quickly took our shots outdoors and then moved to the inside.  As we entered and looked for an area to shoot, wouldn't you know it.....God shown us favor....how much favor........let's just say.......GOD SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT.......He'll take you places and give you access to rooms you couldn't even imagine......

Where did you guys meet?

We met at Prairie View A&M University.

How long have you all been together?

We have been together for 8 years.

Where was the first date located?

Our first date was at Itz, a fun game and arcade spot where we laughed, played, and instantly clicked.

Who said “I love you” first? And what was your response?

Quintin said it first, and it completely caught me off guard — in the best way.

Where did you all get engaged?

He proposed in Houston, and I truly thought I was on my way to his aunt’s birthday party… until his sister accidentally ruined the surprise. It still ended up being perfect and unforgettable.

What is one thing that you two must do every day?

Every day, no matter how busy life gets, we make sure to check in with each other. Whether it’s a deep conversation, a laugh, or just a quiet moment — connection is our daily ritual.

What do you two have in common?

We both value family, loyalty, and building a soft, peaceful life together. We’re driven, faith-centered, and we love a good trip with luxury vibes.

Which one of you cooks the best?

Let’s just say… Quintin loves to think he’s the chef, but Tyler definitely hold her own in the kitchen. They make a good team either way.

What is your wedding date?

April 18, 2026 — the day we officially become The Joneses.

Where are you all going for your honeymoon?

The honeymoon is completely being planned by Quintin. The details and surprise location will be revealed to me during an upcoming candlelit dinner.
